If you have seen the ratings for Friday , you will know why I called it Black Friday.
Anybody have any ideas , why the ratings were so low , for most networks and timeslots?
8pm the highest viewed show got 10Mil (pitiful) (Joan of Aracdia)

Friday Night is the second lowest-rated night of the week behind Saturday.

As the networks have feared, Friday is turning into the new Saturday. It's really the only night at risk of doing this, and it's happening.

Its sad really , there are some decent-good shows on Friday , I suppose people wanna do something on Fridays nights , hopefully they will not cancell these shows , and anyways it might improve as the days get colder ... , and people stay in on Friday nights.

That's usually always the case for Fridays and Saturdays, the ratings go up and down with the seasons.
I think the comparison with last year might be bad because there
were a number of high profiles series debuting (Hope & Faith, Joan of Arcadia) and that didn't happen this year. We'll see as the season goes on, but if this continues, I would hold too much faith for a fourth season of "8 simple Rules," which drew only 6.1mil viewers and a tiny 1.7/6 in adults.
