Choose or Lose
Who would you vote for??
And why??

You may also pick a running mate, if you want.

Woody and Coach are out because they'd be puppets for somebody with bad intentions.

No Frasier because he's actually affiliated with a party.

None of the others because they wouldn't do anything.

My vote goes to Sternin/Chambers or Chambers/Sternin. Diane is there because she is both socially conscious and active. And Lilith is a wonderful negotiator and just plain cool.

Wow. I was just gonna say Lilith...but that's gooooood.
*thinks*
I should have changed my sn to "Sternin", Chambers, and we could have taken over the world together.

Although...I think Carla could have been good in Congress.

And what's with George Wendt instead of Norm? Are you just suggesting that they're the same person?

Frasier and his running mate Cliff Clavin.

Sort of like having a conservative and liberal together.

Frasier is a Republican no doubt and Clifford looks the type to be a democrat.

I always saw Cliff as a Republican.
He seemed to be much more conservative than anyone in the bar (other than Frasier, of course).

Republican or Democrat.... both are funny as hell.

I think of him as conservative too...BUT he does trust the government...and he seems the type who would go along with the majority...figuring how MA is a democratic state....he's probably a liberal.

I could get behind Chambers/Sternin or Sternin/Chambers, great pairing there. ;)

I suppose we would need to have primaries first...

Hm yeah, ok let's have a character election.
Ooh won't this be fun?
We can have rallies and debates and then primaries and oh, how fun. But somebody else plan it because I'm way too lazy.

Wait, shouldn't we have the primaries before the debates, so we know, like, who's debating?

Oooh, this sounds like fun!!

My votes are for Sternin and Chambers...the rest of the characters are pretty unstable - well, except for Norm...

Norm can swear Lilith and Diane into office!;)

Maybe it's just me, but I predict a Chambers/Sternin (or vice versa) v. Crane/Clavin debate in the forseeable future...

Make that Crane/Tortelli
Carla would kick ass in office. Cliff wouldn't do anything.

At least we can talk about this stuff on this message board. On the Dick Van Dyke Show message board, I posted a thread on character party affliations and no one's replied to it. I like posting there, but some people there are a little TOO conservative!

Yes, the way I see it, people here on the Cheers board are mature enough to talk about informed politics and to respect other people's opinions.

That's what I like about this board. People can disagree but we respect their opinions... on some other SO boards (I Love Lucy for example) if you disagree with people they wanna kill you!!

(Plus we get to know each other better when we get offtopic!)
