On the Today show this morning, I caught a VERY quick glimpse of Freddie--in the series of clips celebrating the many comedians whom Johnny Carson helped launch during his years on the Tonight Show. He was on the stage doing his stand-up, wearing a dark blue jacket and white shirt with a blue design--so I don't think it was from his first appearance.

The focus of the segment almost immediately shifted to the current host, Jay Leno--but at least Freddie was in there!

Cheryl, it was really very fast ... literally a blink of the eye, and you'd miss it. I was just glad knowing they'd decide to include Freddie in the tribute.

I missed it too. I'm glad they had at least a snippet of Freddie. He was the 1st Latino comic ever. He deserves to be acknowledged.

I enjoyed the Johnny Carson show. :)

I love catching a glimpse of Freddie unexpectedly.

Whenever I hear something on t.v., or read something that I feel should mention Freddie, I feel as if I would like to will them to mention him.

It is such a great surprise when it actually happens. I always get goose bumps and am so elated when it happens as well.

I wish I saw it :-).
