Out of these three L.A. rock bands, which one is better of the three?

For me its a tie between Guns and Van Halen.

IMO Van Halen is the best, though Guns N' Roses are in a very close second. I've never liked Motley Crue. Van Halen have released 12 studio albums since 1978 and nearly all of them I would regard as classics. The only two VH albums that are let downs are 1980's Woman and Children First (though it did feature two great tracks in "Everybody Wants Some" and "And the Cradle Will Rock...") and 1998's Van Halen III. The debut album, Van Halen II, Fair Warning, 1984, 5150, For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge and Balance are flawless albums. Diver Down and ou812 both had some weak spots, but still are good albums overall.

Guns N' Roses!
Gn'F'nR's, man! There is absolutely no question about it. 'Appetite For Destruction' is the best rock album of all time, barr none!

i hate mr. rose's first name and i can't stand seeing it or hearing it because there's no 'e' or anything between the x and the l and it really bothers me. well i know it's not his real name, but the first word. the end.

Guns N' ****ing Roses 100 times over. Van Halen is great, but doesn't even come close to GNR in my book.

"Motley Crue" was one of my favorite bands.
I liked some "Guns N' Roses" and "Van Halen" songs.

Definitely Van Halen! I like Guns 'n' roses and Motley Crue are both great, but I prefer Van Halen. Eddie is like a god to me.

Wow! That's a tough call.

I love all those bands. In order, I'd have to say...

Van Halen
GNR
Crue

Sorry Vince. "Looks That Kill" still is the most kickass song in the world, if it makes you feel better.

Van Halen, by far. I'm not that familiar with GNR and I can't stomach Motley Crue.

I don't remember making this post, but I would say it still reflects how I feel.

GnR easily. If the original lineup (or even Sorum as replacement) would have stayed together, they'd be on the same level as the Stones or Zeppelin in RocknRoll history. They were truly a super group.
