Do you have a list of show not airing anywhere? I know that Night Court is now one of them.

Because they aren't airing on any locals or cable, that's why. A list of shows not airing on locals or cable in the U.S. is impossible, but here are some notable sitcoms besides Phyllis, Maude and Night Court:

Perfect Strangers, Small Wonder, Silver Spoons, ALF, Out of this World, Hogan Family, Mr. Belvedere, Mary Tyler Moore (on TV Land Canada, though), Rhoda, Facts of Life, One Day at a Time (Chicago local dropped it), Harry and the Hendersons, Dinosaurs, Webster, Please Don't Eat the Daisies, Anything But Love (on a Canadian cable channel, though), Evening Shade (on a Candian cable channel, though), Get Smart (on TV Land Canada, though), Punky Brewster, Joey Bishop Show, Alice, Benson, SOAP, Bob Newhart, Newhart, Car 54, Dave's World, Empty Nest, Family Affair (in Canada, though), Father Knows Best, Flying Nun, Gidget, Archie Bunker's Place, Growing Pains (on cable in Canada), Wonder Years, Hearts Afire, Hooperman, Hazel, Head of the Class, Hangin' With Mr. Cooper, Just the Ten of Us, Kate & Allie, Monkees, Murphy Brown (coming to Nick@Nite in Jan though), Partridge Family, Patty Duke Show, Petticoat Junction (in Canada though), Room 222, Blossom, Square Pegs, That Girl, Julia, Too Close for Comfort, Veronica's Closet, WKRP, etc...

Shows only on one-three locals each: NewsRadio (3), My Three Sons (2), The Love Boat (1), The Honeymooners (2), McHale's Navy (1), Welcome Back Kotter (1; on Goodlife on cable too), Barney Miller (1), Dear John (1), Amen (3), What's Happening!! (1), What's Happening Now!! (1), 227 (one local, but nationally on TV One), Gimme a Break (2), Grace Under Fire (1), Mork & Mindy (2) and Diff'rent Strokes (2).

Other shows on locals, but are airing on more than 5, but not many: Charles in Charge, Bosom Buddies (nationally on TBS), The Jeffersons, Good Times (nationally on TV One), etc.

This of course isn't a full list...

Pav are you telling me the Jeffersons is coming to TV ONE? I'm asking because you statement was The Jeffersons, Good Times nationally on TV ONe.

Night Court airs on The Biography Channel, doesn't it?

No, if The Jeffersons was coming to TV One, there would have been a parenthesis saying that.

And Buffy, no, Night Court is now gone from The Bio Channel.

If anyone can think of any other sitcoms not on the list I created, feel free to post, and I'll let you know if it is on any locals or cable channels, or if it isn't airing anywhere.

I did list those. Let me rephrase my suggestion:

READ MY LIST and if anyone can think of any other sitcoms not on the list I created, feel free to post, and I'll let you know if it is on any locals or cable channels, or if it isn't airing anywhere.

I think "Square Pegs" airs on HDnet.

And's Pß's right. A complete list of all sitcoms not airing anywhere at all in the US would be impossible. I'm sure there are HUNDREDS not airing.

Oh. I don't have the channel but my cable service offers it for those with HDTV and I sometimes look at its listings (via the onscreen guide) to see what CA episodes are airing, and they seem to change their schedule every other week!

When did SP leave?

I don't have the channel either. Not sure when it left. Hogan's Heroes, Charlie's Angels, Andy Richter, etc are still airing, though.

*Sigh* ... yes, second show I listed for shows not airing. I hope you are not taking reading lessons from SOLOMON.

His list was also unclear and everything was jumbled together. He should have posted the list in Outline form.

Sorry, didn't have time to do that. As Bill Walton would say, where would you like the ball next time, SOLOMON?

I doubt Adam-12 or Emergency are airing anywhere.

Or Lois and Clark.

Or how about that sitcom E/R? I remember watching that on some cable channel in the late 80s/early 90s. Totally disappeared since.

You know not everyone has perfect eyesight like you

I wear glasses and even with my glasses all the words were blurring together.

Perfect eyesight? wtf?

My daughter is in 4th grade and could read that paragraph without complaining. You don't have to have high scholastic reading skills to do so.

People should be kissing Pav's butt for all the information he relays to us instead of *&$%^ing and moaning that he didn't put a paragraph in line by line format so people had nothing to complain about.

I agree with Nanny Fine. I have absolutely no problem reading the paragraph.

Apologize. We don't need MORE fights here...

Like I said not everyone is as perfect as you

Does your daughter wear glasses or contacts? Ever think that maybe some people have trouble reading paragraphs?

Some people are so insensitive.

I appreciate Pav posting the information, so stop acting like you're the only one who's grateful.

This is completely asinine. What is wrong with you guys? Pavanbadal, you did a perfectly fine job summarizing, I had no problem understanding anything.

THANK YOU Pavanbadal. Sorry others aren't as appreciative.
