Anyone ever watch a movie and then find it so bad you stop watching it? It's probably happened to anybody.

I watched the movie "Crimes of Passion" starring Kathleen Turner and Anthony Perkins. This was the unrated and uncut version available from Netflix. My parents saw it and they said it was garbage. I wasn't too thrilled with it, either. This movie has a lot of sex and stuff. The problem is that the wrong person was cast as China Blue. Kathleen Turner wasn't very attractive, especially in that blonde wig. :barf: I took it out of the DVD player and sent it back before it was even halfway done. I might give it a second chance someday.

There was some movie with Lance Bass that my roommate and I started watching cuz it was free on our housing channel. Wow. What a complete waste of time. He talked about presidents with some mystery girl and then couldn't find her... oh gee, I wonder how it ended  We turned it off after twenty minutes and walked to Blockbuster it was that boring.

Oh, and I did actually fall asleep during a movie for the first time in my life this summer. We were in the British Film Institute (the BFI) for class and were watching this horrible film from the seventies. I don't know what it was - some old man goes to visit his son and he's got an old girlfriend and - oh, I don't even remember. But don't tell my prof. We were not allowed to fall asleep in that class. I did, and I was in the front row

Solaris

I like Sci-fi and I like space movies, but even I couldn't stand that movie. I turned off the DVD after 20 minutes.

They were both on t.v., so I decided "why not"? Waste of time.

I turned The Butterfly Effect off after about 35 minutes. I thought the movie was a little TOO graphic, and also I thought the plot in general was done to better effect when it was called Donnie Darko.

Although, to be fair, it was a 10:30 show and I went to work that morning at 5 am to do inventory.

I loved 'The Butterfly Effect'. I thought it would be stupid but I really enjoyed it. Granted, it was nowhere near as good as 'Donnie Darko', and it had more than it's fair share of plot-holes, but it's still one of the best movies I've seen recently.

Lord, that was an AMAZING movie!! How could you hate it? :(

I hated Donnie Darko. God, it made me depressed for almost 2 weeks.

I think Ashton Kutcher is one of the most annoying and talentless actors in Hollywood. The movie had potential but it chose to become way too sensational in the flashbacks. I couldn't watch anymore because the stuff they showed that happened in his life was beyond horrific.

I have a conscience, watching a movie where a dog gets torched alive, kids get molested, and an infant dies in a prank gone wrong is not what I find entertaining, and I am glad I turned it off after 35 minutes, because it could only get even more disturbing from there.

Ashton Kutcher does suck, I agree. And it was the most depressing movie I've ever seen. But it has such a meaning behind it. It's so DEEP.

The movie was deeply disturbing, more than anything though, was the futility of his plight to save her.

Ashton sucks, but did a pretty good job in the movie.

I liked it alot at first, but the more I think about it the less I like it, though I still think it was pretty good.

I still havnt seen Donnie Darko, which is ****ing ridiculous because I'm a huge fan of Maggie Gylenhaal (such a big fan thatI may or may not be able to spell her name right)

The remake of "Cheaper By the Dozen" - I got a headache almost immediately and turned off the movie about 20 minutes into it...It S-U-C-K-E-D big time! :barf:

Other mentions include: Babe and Babe 2 (I've ALWAYS fallen asleep about 30 minutes into both films), the Super Mario Bros. movie (it was so bad, I watched the whole thing. Now I wish I hadn't  ), some "The Scarlet Letter" movie that was made in the 70's (I passed out in class when we had to watch it. :sleep2: ) and so many more...

Oh yeah, when I was a high school junior in 2001, we read "The Last of the Mohicians" and watched the movie, along with it. HORRIBLE!!!!!! :faint:

And although I didn't watch it, my dad gave me a review on a movie he saw recently -- "Dogville". He said it was the WORST movie he's ever watched - he only watched 5 minutes of it before he decided he thought it sucked and returned it to the movie store immediately.

Brad, I didn't like Gladiator either. By the way, is that a picture of you in your avatar?

I like comedy, adventure, cartoon, family films, etc. The other movies I quit watching was "Resident Evil" and the other horror movies. I'm not a big fan of horror films.

Same here. Only cuz i fell asleep the 3 times i attempted to watch it. Yeah i dont get it either. But i fall asleep during movies all the time so its not that far-fetched.

The one movie that i never want to see ever again is Starship Troopers. Haha i just remember watching it few years back and getting very nauseous with all the goo and junk. Its such a lame reason since im all for gore but this just made me literally feel sick so i refuse to watch it again.

I guess it's all to each his/her own. Silence Of The Lambs is in my top 5 of all time. But then I found Butterfly Effect too disturbing to watch and look at how many people loved that.
