On this day in 1989, Family Matters first aired. Since then, Urkel has come and gone, and all we have now is reruns on ABC Family :(

Let's hope we can get a Family Matters DVD one of these days.

Wow! 15 years ago today. "Family Matters" debuted and the theme for the first episode was called "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. I heard that song played on the radio at one time. The second theme on the second episode was "Days Go By" by Jesse Fredrick, the guy who sang the theme for "Full House". I hope that the next 15 will be a better one. Happy anniversary!!!

I just miss that show so much.. I hope there could be more episodes.. but unfortunately, nope.
This is a huge piece of history, I believe one day children will read about this show in their history bookies.. lol :)
I watch reruns every day, over, and over, and over, and over..
No shows such as this will ever be. This is the show that tought people about the perfect family.. How important is to understand each other and support, giving wormth and love.

Yes Happy Anniversary to Family Matters. Definately one of the greatest sitcoms ever created.

Hopefully one day we'll get a reunion show or a DVD.
