service on September 1st. This Channel STINKS!! These are the horrible Tv shows that air on Hallmark

Sheesh. I only watch 5 of my 80 channels on a regular basis. JUST IGNORE THEM if you don't like them!

It's not as good now as it used to be during its Odyssey years, but I am looking forward to seeing "The Wild, Wild West." I've always wanted to see that show. Right now that show and it's Sunday afternoon line-up are the only saving grace of what was a once excellent channel.

Here's a solution that I have found to help avoid crappy channels like that.

I'm not a big fan of Hallmark, either. I thought it was a lot better when it first began and back in its Odyssey days.

I never really been into dramas so that maybe why Hallmark shows don't appeal to me.

Hallmark in the UK isn't exactly like the US one but it's very similar. Boring, preachy dramas by day and boring, preachy movies by night. I don't b##ch about it though - that's why God invented the remote control.
I have hundreds of channels but I probably only watch about 6 of them on a regular basis.

I LOVE the Hallmark channel!

I watch some of the channel. There are some good golden oldies there.

Not by most people, I don't think. Just because it was set during a war doesn't automatically make it drama. Sure they had the rare ep that was quite sad, but it is still considered to be a sitcom.

I don't like the Hallmark channel either. They play too many dramas and westerns during the week, if you ask me. I liked it better when they had more variety which included some sitcoms such as Happy Days, Bewitched, ALF, I Dream of Jeannie, ect.
I don't see why they don't air sitcoms they already have during their weekday schedule: Gilligan's Island, The Facts of Life, The Beverly Hillbillies, Hogan's Heroes, ect. Why acquire them when you hardly play them?

I remember seeing it listed as VISN way back when, but what I meant was that I thought the channel was better when Hallmark first started in 2001 than it is now.

If ALF and Hart to Hart were re-added to the schedule though, I'd totally tune back into Hallmark

I did it with all the religious and sports channels here. ;)

I'm not able to do that with my remote. But i know i can change the channel, my point was that Comcast sent info in the mail about Hallmark being added to the service like it was a channel with entertaining programs.

:lol: Solomon all cable co.'s send out things about new channels, if ours hadn't when they added some, I probably wouldn't have even knew they added them. :lol:

They only send it out when it's a channel you have no use for?-LOL I found out by a accident that Comcast added 8 new sports channels and guess what , i never received any info about those channels and i had them for 5 months.

How do you know you won't have a use for it unless you watch it? ;)

If they hadn't sent out stuff, I wouldnt know about Soapnet and other channels that are now my favs :)
