Well I'm sure they'll send them to you, but be aware they're pirate "dvds" and will likely be poor quality tv-rips of a product that will come out on dvd eventually.

They'll be on dvd r disks, so I supose technically they're dvds but consider that they'll be worse than vhs quality for most of them.

I think it'd be a shame to reward them financially.

I wouldn't. For one it's illegal, and it could mess up any chances to ever get the show on DVD.

Earlier, I bought a seven (7) DVD set as advertised as complete 115 episodes. The problem is that it not truly “complete”. Disk 3, episode # 38 (“The Tree House”), this episode has no sound. Additionally, episodes 69, 74, 104, and 109 are missing.

All episodes were appeared to have been copied cable TV (cable station emblem is often seen in the viewing screens). Certain scenes throughout the DVD are snowy, but are viewable. When I first got the DVDs, I checked if all the episodes if they are viewable, and I only found episode 38 with no sound as the only problem. I actually bought a replacement DVD, from another source, and that too had the same problem. Only later I found out that my “complete” set of Wonder Years had additional problem of missing episodes. All the episodes I viewed were on the “chapter” menus, but I failed to realize that not all the episodes were listed in all the Chapter Menus. So…. from my perspective, this “7-DVD set” was a rip-off.

Recently I bought another set of “complete” Wonder Years, but this time it is on fifteen (15) DVDs. Again, the episodes appeared to have been copied from Cable and Network TV. Video quality is an improvement from the 7-DVD set, but overall quality is like a second generation copy of another video. Several episodes still have Spanish subtitles. As far as I know, all episodes are listed on the Chapter menus ( episode # 38 has sound). Basically, I think this is a good substitute until the official manufacturer release is available.
