Mine are:
Top 10:
10: No Children, No Pets:
Plot: A little puppy is left at the gang’s doorstep.
What Made It So Great: The puppy dog made this episode worth while. He was so
adorable. This also marks the first of Janet’s misunderstandings.
9: A Crowded Romance:
Plot: Larry and Jack are dating the same girl.
What Made It So Great: This is the only episode that deals with Larry that is great. I loved
the plot, and how Jack had a fake moustache on.
8: Jack Bares All Parts 1 and 2:
Plot: While Cindy is enrolled at UCLA, Jack and Janet get a new roommate, Terri.
What Made It So Great: The touching moment at the end was extremly well acted and
Priscilla Barnes did great.
7: Three’s Christmas:
Plot: Jack, Janet, and Chrissy spend the holidays at The Ropers.
What Made It So Great: The Ropers best episode of them all. It shows that they can do
very funny slapstick without trying very hard. The only Chirstmas episode also.
6: The Case Of The Missing Blonde:
Plot: Jack and Janet are scared to death when Mr. Furley sees Cindy being thrown into a
black car.
What Made It So Great: The only episode that has the plot of kidnapping, was very well
written, and extremly funny.
5: Up In The Air:
Plot: Jack gets drunk at a party.
What Made It So Great: The best Jack episode. Pure slapstick comedy that never stops
making you laugh.
4: Maid To Order:
Plot: Cindy returns as the maid of the apartment.
What Made It So Great: A funny return to a series. In season 6, Cindy had been gone for
half of the season, and she comes back extremly funny in this episode.
3: Urban Plowboy:
Plot: Jack, Janet, and Terri visit Cindy’s farm.
What Made It So Great: All of this was was pretty funny. I coulnd’t find too many places
without a good slapstick joke.
2: And Baby Makes Four:
Plot: Jack and Janet think Cindy is having a baby.
What Made It So Great: Every joke in this one worked. It has the most
misunderstandinging in any episode.
1: Downhill Chaser:
Plot: Jack, Janet, Larry, and Mr. Furley go on a skiing trip.
What Made It So Great: A slapstick disater. The greatest episode of them all. The funniest
of them all. Everyone should be crying on the floor after this one.
My 10 Least Favorite:
10: Man, It’s Cold In Here:
Plot: Jack and Mr. Furley are trapped in a freezer.
What Made It So Bad: Too much Mr. Furley not enough action. This episode’s jokes
didn’t work, and had to slapstick involved at all.
9: Diamond Jack:
Plot: Jack’s date is a thief.
What Made It So Bad: Not enough jokes, or roommates. The episode focused a bit too
much on Jack, who can’t run the episode by himself. The plot was terrible also.
8: Look What I Found:
Plot: Jack, Janet, and Terri wake upt o find a cat on their doorstep.
What Made It So Bad: Tried copying a great episode, and this clone of it just didn’t work.
I hate cats, so maybe that was it.
7: Night Of The Ropers:
Plot: Jack, Janet, and Cindy have 2 special guests.
What Made It So Bad: A terrible, unfunny comeback for The Ropers. Enough said.
6: Now You See It, Now You Don’t:
Plot: Jack loses $25,000 gambling.
What Made It So Bad: No jokes at all, just a bunch of casino games that Jack plays, and
tries to made a joke out of.
5: An Affair To Remember:
Plot: Jack is dating Janet’s friend, who is already married.
What Made It So Bad: What has happened here? Is Jack a sleazy weirdo now? Or maybe
it’s because there were no laughs?
4: Friends and Lovers Parts 1 and 2:
Plot: Jack, Janet, and Terri move out of the building.
What Made It So Bad: The finale was so sad, that no laughs were even thought up. The
main point: Janet married a loser.
3: And Justice For Jack:
Plot: Jack is being stalked by a sex-starved sleaze.
What Made It So Bad: A disgusting episode. Jack being chased around by a woman who
wants to have kids with him? Such a bad way to make an episode.
2: Jack Looks For A Job:
Plot: Jacks looks for a job....well duh!
What Made It So Bad: No action, too much Jack, boring characters, a normal Mr. Roper.
Enough said.
1: Roper’s Niece:
Plot: Mr. Roper’s niece suddenly takes off her clothes and does an act for Jack in the
Roper’s living room.
What Made It So Bad: Everything that is bad.
