Skeeter Davis has passed away she was 71,she died of cancer best known for 'It's The End Of My World"You can hear the song in the movie Girl Interupet,(thats how I think it's spelled),also she was well known in the 1950's-1970's,but she was still on the concert sence. Rest in Peace,another great singer has died..

I've heard that song played on the radio at one time was called "The End of the World". I think that it was a great song. RIP:(

Wow! I am sad to hear this news. I had no idea Ms. Davis was ill or 71. I liked 2 of her songs so much, The End of the World, and I Can't Stay Mad At You.

That's too bad. I love the song, 'The End of The World'. I was glad it made a comeback with Girl, Interrupted.

I have 1 of her 60s records in Mono and its excellent!

I have a feeling she was the BEST in the 60s :)
