Somers Now a Third Wheel
Life is really tough for Suzanne Somers, the wacky cheesecake queen of "Three's Company". How Tough It Is!
Well, it's so tough that her role on "Three's Company" had been diminished to the point where she can simpily phone in her part every week. I mean that litteraly. For the last three months, Ms. Somers' entire contribution to the Tuesday Night Sitcom Comedy Series has been a reoccuring brief part in which she phones her pals from her mom's house in Fresno, California.

Sears Sneers at "Three's Company"
Sears, the huge chain of retail stores announced recently that it is calling on 25 companies to join them in an attempt to alter TV Programming. Sears showed it's earnest money by withdrawing as a sponser of "Three's Company" and "Charlie's Angels"

Somers' Absence Cancels Comedy Series Episode
Suzanne Somers has missed two of the first three tapings of "Three's Company" this season and a fourth taping had to be cancelled this week because of the act, one of the shows executive producers said Thursday. Michael Ross said one of the absences had been planned to allow Somers to keep a Las Vegas engagement, but she missed tapings on Sunday and Tuesday, becuase of what she said was a back injury.
The episode taped Sunday was rewritten to exclude her character, Chrissy Snow, Ross said, but Tuesday's episode could not be revised because she was piviotal to the plot.

A "Three's Company" Cast Appearance On "Dinah!" (1977)
Norman: And I'll let you in on a little scoop. Today we found out that the National Neilsons came in on our rerun last Thursday, and we were number three nationally!
Dinah: Wow!
Suzanne: That was really great!
