Esther Rolle to leave the show for for yall to mature the J.J character? Why was the J.J character matured when Amos and Rolle was there? All the changes i J.J after the Two stars left the Show

1. No More Blue Hat
2. J.J no longer said-"Dynomite"
3. He wasn't Goofy no more
4.He had a real job at a Advertising Agency instead of walking around with a chicken on his head working at the chicken shack.

Not puzzling. If he was still in a decent job, they just might've moved out of the projects. Watching it in hindsight it seems like they knew going into it that year 6 was the end of the road and they were setting it up from the start to be the last season.

It also seemed like he went back to acting goofy a little when she returned. Like when Keith tripped and fell why couldn't it be Michael who was accidently in the way?-lol
