There is one thing that has always bothered me about The Jetsons. Every time they show a sports game being played the players are always robots. I thought robots were invented to do our work for us. It's one thing to have robots cook our food, clean our house, and manufacture our sprockets but when they start playing our games that's going to far. It seems to me in any era playing games is one pleasure humans would reserve for themselves. I for one don't want to live in a society were robots get to play all the games and people only get to watch! :wave:

On the other hand, if a robot gets injured in rocket turbo football, said robot won't be sidelined for the rest of the season...nor will he/she/it become addicted to painkillers or, for that matter be accused of murder or assault!!

(You ARE familiar with the term "satire", right?);)

Very Good Point. Hard to find a good Sports hero these days.
and besides this is the future and it's a cartoon. NOT REAL, not even close.

I myself always liked the robots. Rosie was my fave.
