Each one-hour episode will end with the elimination of one family until the sixth episode, in which the two remaining families vie for the top prize. All six episodes highlight the families in a race from Southern California beaches to backlots, from hangars to hotels, and from mansions to makeup rooms -- begging for autographs, posing for photos with celebrities and participating in outrageous stunts to win the prize.

 I can't believe they included WTB in the Family Table thing

Do you know if N@N is gonna do anything for WTB's 20th anniversary? :)

Glad to see TCS is getting a 20th anniversary, it seemed as if after a 2 and a half year lovefest it was shot aside.

I really like the Family Table image N@N is going for, every show (aside from Wings, fits perfectly)

Wings should move to TVLand, even if at the same timeslot -- just on the different network.

And, as I say in every "N@N Month Thread", Fatherhood isn't working for me. I love TCS, but this is terrible.

Anyways, I won't be watching N@N, except for TCS 20th Anniversary.
(not because I dont like the shows.... I just watch TVDVDs instead)

Yeah it's good to see TCS getting an anniversary special, but I want a WTB one as well, I will be pissed if they don't get one as well

As much as I love Wings, I don't think it belongs on TVLAND yet. If N@N does renew WTB next year, maybe they could put it on TVLAND that would be a perfect fit there :D

I don't like Fatherhood either, a cheap animated Cosby Show ripoff

I agree with "Wings." I love it, but it definatly doesn't belong on TVLand, imo. The way NAN is right now, it doesn't really fit there either. TBS would be perfect or maybe even WGN.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: TVLand should currently focus on stuff from the 50s to 80s and NAN can have everything from the late 80s to the late 90s. For shows like WTB? and TCS that small on the border, I think they would be good on either one.

If I were in charge of TVLand and NAN, I'd put a total of 25 classic shows on TVLand's lineup and a total of 9 shows on NAN.

I remember back in the old days, NAN would have like 13 shows on their sked, and it worked. I know I would watch it all night long because every show was new to me then and I was happy when new things came because in most cases, I never saw the show before. Now, with TVL, every show they add, I've seen at least once. With NAN, every show they air seems to be just coming off (or in some cases, still on) stints on other channels.

It's not bad enough that N@N is having a reality show  , but their schedule, already uninteresting, is currently stagnant. I know I've said this before, but I miss the "100% Unreality" days! ;)

That is crazy, nothing we can do about it.

Heck where I live Roseanne is on more than that it's on 4 separate channels N@N, Oxygen, a local Channel of ours, and an independent channel we get on our cable from Toledo, so it's on way more than FP

Nick@Nite is a business. They go with shows that will get ratings, and they hit it right on the mark with Fresh Prince. So, you'll see it aired a lot.

I can understand that but N@N needs to expand to a 24 hour a day network if they want to do that, because they really are limited on airtime, what are they gonna do if they keep adding shows?

UM...... I wasn't even defending/talking about Roseanne. You need to get over yourself. You yourself said if a show airs on two networks it's OVERPLAYED..... well Boy Meets World does and you sure don't bitch about that. To add to this locals don't count as not everyone gets them. Roseanne is on N@N, Oxygen and two locals, they don't define the whole world, but they still count

The point is it's still overplayed, it makes me LMAO that SOME Roseanne fans still bitch about it not being on enough and them freaking out at the Roseanne board just because the Fresh Prince marathon was on "oh my god, my show is leaving N@N, the world is coming to an end"

Now I agree about those Roseanne fans...... but if a show is so heavily overplayed it must be doing something right....

ENOUGH! No more complaining about what is overplayed and what is not. No one is making you watch any show. That is what a remote control is for. This has nothing to do with Nick@Nite November. All posts after this that are off-topic, WILL be deleted.

NICK AT NITE GOES TO THE POLLS WHEN FANS PROGRAM

"THE COSBY SHOW VIEWERS CHOICE MARATHON" ON NOVEMBER 1

New York, NY, October 27, 2004 - Election day comes early on Nick at Nite as TV fans across the country are invited to participate in "The Cosby Show Viewers Choice Marathon", airing November 1 from 10:00pm through 6:00am (all times ET/PT). Viewers can go to nick-at-nite.com to choose from a wide variety of Cosby favorites from "Cliff's Birthday," when special guest star Lena Horn drops by for the celebration, to the ground breaking "Pilot" that introduced viewers to the loveable Huxtable family. Voting ends at 9:59pm on November 1, just before the first episode is scheduled to air.

Set in New York's Brooklyn Heights, "The Cosby Show," premiered on NBC September 20, 1984 and recently celebrated its 20th Anniversary as one of television's most enduring and popular sitcoms. The show revolves around the lives of the Huxtable family, Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable (Bill Cosby), his wife Clair (Phylicia Rashad) and their five children, Denise (Lisa Bonet), Theo (Malcolm-Jamal Warner), Vanessa (Tempestt Bledsoe), Rudy (Keshia Knight Pulliam), and Sondra (Sabrina Le Beauf). The comedy reflects the ways in which families persevered to balance their professional and personal lives while raising their kids in a dual-career household. Throughout the show's eight-year run, viewers laughed and rejoiced as the Huxtable children grew up, went to college, got married, grandchildren were born, and Cliff and Clair still managed to stay madly in love.

I'm confused, I thought when Fresh Prince came it was N@N's highest rated show. I guess Roseanne's still holding up well for them.

SIX FAMILIES GO HEAD-TO-HEAD IN A REALITY-TV RACE TO THE FINISH IN NICK AT NITE’S FAMILY FACE-OFF: HOLLYWOOD

The Best Damn Sports Show Period’s John Salley and 8 Simple Rules’ Amy Davidson
Host New Reality Series Premiering Monday, Nov. 29 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT)

Santa Monica, CA – November 22, 2004 – It’s a race to the finish as Nick at Nite expands its slate of original programming with the new reality series, “Nick at Nite’s Family Face-Off: Hollywood,” premiering on Monday, November 29 at 9 p.m. (all times ET/PT). Hosted by former NBA Superstar John Salley (The Best Damn Sports Show Period) and actress Amy Davidson (8 Simple Rules…For Dating My Teenage Daughter), the show will air at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on five consecutive Mondays – November 29 through December 27 – and features six families competing to win the ultimate family vacation.

The series, created by Nick at Nite’s Gary Engel and David Rieth, is being Executive Produced by David Stanley through his newly-formed Empty Nest Productions in association with Telepictures Productions, alongside Sal Maniaci, Vice President, Originals and Development, for Nick at Nite. Michael Canter also serves as executive producer and Kathy Cotter as co-executive producer.

Nick at Nite’s Family Face-Off: Hollywood pits six families against each another in a race around Southern California – from studio back lots to sun-drenched beaches through the streets of Beverly Hills – in a series of outrageous challenges that will test their physical and mental limits. Most importantly, they will need to work together to avoid being the one family eliminated at the end of each episode.

With tasks taking place at some of the entertainment capital’s most famous landmarks, it’s an exhaustive marathon of fun, but intense, competitions that will see families scaling the famous Warner Bros. water tower; crossing a 60-foot beam -- 30 feet above the ground; assembling a 400 square-foot picture puzzle of their favorite TV stars; feeding a stunt double to a Jurassic Park dinosaur; matching their outfits to those of their favorite recording artists; wrapping up a family member like a mummy while identifying famous movie villains; sailing over the ocean on a zip line and racing around on the craziest scavenger hunts ever seen on television.

Besides the computer, scooter, custom golf cart, video game systems and other prizes they will win along the way, the last two families will compete in the final episode for the ultimate family vacation to Hawaii – but all of them will have the greatest family adventure of their lives.

“Now that Nick at Nite has hit full stride with both our popular acquired programming and originals like Fatherhood, we can branch out into more originals, like Nick at Nite’s Family Face-Off: Hollywood,” explains Larry W. Jones, President, TV Land and Nick at Nite. “We’re thrilled that we can continue to offer unique, fun original programming that the whole family can enjoy.”

“I could not have chosen a better project to be the first solo outing under my new deal at Telepictures Productions,” said Executive Producer David Stanley. “Nick at Nite asked us to help them develop a series that would blend the reality and game genres in a family-friendly, funny format, and the result is truly a show you can watch and enjoy with your whole family.”

Nick at Nite Originals was created in 2003 to develop original programming that meets what the network refers to as the "Four F’s" criteria: programming that is Family-Friendly, Funny and Familiar. Nick at Nite Originals also produces Fatherhood (June 2004), a show based on Bill Cosby’s best-selling book of the same name.
