View Full Version : Interesting observation

I was watching all my old WTB tapes during the FP marathon and as I watched "Walk on the Mild Side" I noticed something. But before I begin, I would like to say that I am certainly NOT critisizing any religion or pointing a finger at anyone. It is simply something I observed and wanted to ask about...

In the episode, Angela is getting ready for her date with Jake and she looks in the mirror. I think the dialogue goes something like this (but don't quote me).

Ang: Oh no! I have an unsightly blemish.
Mona: Looks more like a big zit to me.
Ang: Thanks mother, but no one but you will notice.
Tony: (walking down the stairs) Ang, you look great. What's that on your forehead? Is today Ash Wednesday?

Anyway, I was wondering if we ever really have an insight into Angela's religion or Tony's because Ash Wednesday is a Catholic tradition, so that would make either Tony or Angela Catholic. Of course, that is just a theory since I have no clue if it is in other Christian or Non-Christian religions, but if anyone knows, could you help me out?

Well Tony and Sam are Italian right? Well, I'm Italian and I'm Roman-Catholic and most Italians are Roman-Catholic. So that's just my guess. I don't really know about Angela.

Yeah I think Tony might have been Catholic, cause in "Forgive Me, Tony" he talks about going to some school that had nuns.

I don't know if they really mention what religion Angela might be though :)

I am half italian and I can tell you that religious Italians are all 100% Roman Catholic.

i'm british and german... and i'm only catholic because my grandmother was jewish until she married my grandfather who is catholic... and ta-da...

i think angela would have to be catholic or else tony wouldnt have asked her that because if she wasnt catholic, she wouldnt have gotten ashed on her forehead, therefore, he wouldnt have asked.

I have found my answer! LoL! Tony is Catholic, but we all knew that. Angela is not, and Tony says so in "Tony Kills". I think he said what she was in one episode, but I haven't been able to find it yet.
