There was an episode that was on last tuesday night that had Jeffrey Tambor in it. On the episode Jeffrey Tambor played the part of Dr. Tom Miller. However Jeffrey Tambor was also a regular on The Ropers. On the Ropers he played the part of Jeffrey P. Brooks. This was a big contradiction considering that The Ropers was a spinoff of Three's Company.

LOL That is weird. He also played a man after Cindy, and later a dentist! He really has some aliases, considering Janet and Jack have met him in every part!

The producers and the cast really liked Jeffrey, so they kept asking him back to do different roles -- this isn't as common today, but sitcoms in the 50s and 60s often had groups of actors who were constantly asked to play different guest roles.

I really love the episode with Dr. Tom Miller. The conversation between Jack, Janet, and Tom is hysterical.
