I believe the best sitcom ever created is I Love Lucy. It had just about everything! :)

I like Three's Company but IMO it's not the best, and Mary Hartman is good, but I got sick of it when I was growing up, they played it non stop, and my brother would constantly go around saying "Mary Hartman" "Mary Hartman"

Anyway, I would say the greatest TV comedy of all time is The Simpsons - for the first 9 seasons, anyway. My personal favorite is probably either Simpsons, 30 Rock, or Community.
