We actually get Roseanne on three different stations where I'm from, so N@N getting rid of it would mean nothing to me. Like others said though, with the ratings it gets, it's doubtful that it'll get replaced. It would be pretty stupid to get rid of one of your highest rated shows.

Second of all, in case you didnt know, overplayed is when a show airs about 4 or more times a day. Roseanne airs about 8 times a day.

WTB? isn't a bad show, I loved it when I was a kid. But now that I'm grown, I much prefer Roseanne in retrospect. Roseanne is even better when watching it as an adult whereas some of the appeal of WTB is gone IMO.

I do think Roseanne was probably the best sitcom to air in the 1990's. WTB was decent but I wouldn't rank it among my top 5 shows of the 1980's.

I don't get this supposed "war" between the two shows. This is Roseanne's board, we have every right to say Roseanne is the better show, without having to worry about offending WTB fans.

Trust me tho, Roseanne might not be so funny right now since you are 12 years old and a lot of the humor may be "over your head" (like I didn't start appreciating Seinfeld until I was about 15 or 16) but come back to it in several years and Roseanne will make more sense to you. It's an ADULT show with ADULT themes. WTB is a fun family program, there's a difference. It's like comparing Seinfeld and Boy Meets World, they're too different to really pit against.

well, that's cool.. I watched Roseanne during my adolescent years myself (I was 8 when it began and 17 when it ended). I'm just saying that it's a show that you will grow to appreciate even more when you're an adult. I liked it back then, but as I got older, I appreciated it on a whole new level. I do agree some what with the age thing, but my 1 and a half year old brother loves roseanne. When ever I bring my saxophone home from band, he asks me to play the ROSEANNE theme for him. ( the table sequence and the theme are his favorite parts.)

When I was arguing with RurryMicelli he/she kept complaining about ROSEANNE having more episodes aired a night then WTB? and I kept telling her there was a reason for that..... WTB? is a funny show with lots of good points, but ROSEANNE is a sitcom masterpiece in alot of people's eyes, which is why its ratings never got worse then # 18 or something and it was in the top 3 for 4 or 5 years.

I don't know if Nick at Nite plans on booting any of there shows when Murphy Brown airs but Roseanne gets to good of ratings for Nick at Nite to stop airing it.

you never truly know with N@N. In early 2001, their #1 series was Diff'rent Strokes, and yet DS wasn't even part of their lineup by September. But of course, I doubt Nick would screw Roseanne over like that after how good they've treated it the last year.

N@N tends to get obsessed with one show to the point where they stop playing it. I remember all-night marathons of "Facts of Life"... now notice how they no longer show it. So many shows have come and gone through Nick@Nite, it would be impossible to tell what they will pull out of their hat next. If I could make a guess, I would say that Roseanne will be here for a while; it gets very good ratings...

well, not too bad except 12:30 and FH wouldn't work. It's fanbase usually isn't awake at that time, 9 since some might still be awake, and 5 for those who get up early to go to school

anybody who is up at 12:30 probably isnt a full house fan

9:00 - Full House
9:30 - Cosby Show
10:00 - Fresh Prince
10:30 - Who's the Boss?
11:00 - Roseanne
11:30 - Murphy Brown
12:00 - Cosby Show
12:30 - Fresh Prince
1:00 - Murphy Brown
1:30 - Who's the Boss?
2:00 - Roseanne
2:30 - Roseanne
3:00 - Cosby Show
3:30 - Fresh Prince
4:00 - Wings
4:30 - Wings
5:00 - Full House
5:30 - Full House

each show (except for Wings, unfortunatly) gets shown at a decent time and then each show is played again later in the night. Full House is at 5:00 because it's probably the least watched N@N show so it would be good to have an unpopular show at an unpopular time. With this scedule, I don't think any show is overplayed or underplayed.
