FH is a good show, but i think it would have been better if it's dialog wasn't so sappy and corny. Does anyone agree?

Also, their time lines don't make any sense.

For instance, when they were in Disney World, Jesse was constantly busy with stuff that would have literally taken eight hours or more, but according to their time, it was accomplished
in about five hours.

When Michelle's bike was missing and they confronted Davey and Jesse took his bike, a half hour later DJ came in with a sketch of Jesse as the person who took the bike. Davey's lesson would have lasted a half hour to an hour. He had to walk home, tell his Dad, who drove to the police station. They'd have to wait around there a while, fill out paperwork, tell them what Jesse looked like, a sketch would have to be drawn, and copies printed. The copies wouldn't have been out until the next day, not a half hour after he took the bike!

Sometimes I feel silly too when they're doing weird things.

It's kinda corny, yes, but in essence, that's how the show was supposed to be. It targeted that "young" "i laugh at small things" age group, so it filled it's purpose. However, I did think that when Joey went into random comedian moments, was really corny.

Well I still like it a little but not nearly as much as I used to. Now I'm into Bewitched and Three's Company, and still like always, Leave it to Beaver.

I don't think I ever liked Full House, I used to like Jurassic Park. Now I like Full House's evil, more original twin.... Roseanne!

The show is extremely corny, but that's one reason I like it. It's so overly sweet and innocent that it's charming and endearing.

I know a guy who said he was sitting in church the other day and they were passing the offering plate around and everyone was sitting there quiet while the soft music played in the background. Suddenly, he didn't feel like he was in church, but he could hear Uncle Jesse talking about the pink bunnies, Danny saying it was okay to punch a hole in the wall as long as his girls told him about it, etc. Thought that was real funny.

I don't think it is corny I think it was and is a very cute show, a FAMILY show. More often than once they have happy endings and that is what makes it neat. It is a shame they don't make too many like that anymore.
Many people say that Full house was as Corny as the Brady bunch.
Frankly neither are. Brady for one was done in a time when people appreciated a good wholesome show.
Full House is actually one of the last surviving wholesome shows.

Well i don't know, alot of people say it's corny but it really shouldn't be called that i mean its a wholesome family show. I mean well i like Full House because atleast it shows that the whole family loves each other and gets along. I mean there needs to be more shows like Full House still on TV today but there isn't. I mean shows like Full House, The Cosby Show, Family Ties etc. tought morals and values to children and families. I mean i don't even know how many familes even eat dinner together every night and how many parents take time to help there kids with there homework.

I hate when people act like FH is the ''wholesome'' god of TV. It's really the ''corny'' god of TV. WTB? is a wholsome show, heck, in a way Roseanne is a wholesome show. I mean, they did always eat dinner together ( as almost EVERY theme opening will show you). Sure they cussed all the time but that's what white trash do. Stand tall white trash!!!;) ;) ;) ;) :lol:

Its corny because they hug every 5 seconds, basically nothing bac happens to them, the diolaouge is cheese, ect.

Take out all the corniness and it is a good show...if it wasnt so corny it would probably be good.

But Boy Meets World doesnt it do with the sappy music and the corny hugs.

Take away the corniness and Full House is a good show...heck, its a pretty good show with the corniness, its a perfect family show...it just needs to be on less and it needs to be less...well...corny.

I think Full House is a very good show but thats a family comedy, not like 7th Heaven which is a family drama - comedy. Of course FH might be a bit corny but in a good way (and in that case I don´t want to use the word "corny", maybe "childish" or "family orineted"). Like in Family Ties or Boy Meets World (which is the only show which is better than FH) we can all learn a leasson in the episodes. But "corny" in a negative way - no - maybe a little bit to "childish" or family oriented" but not a bad show.

Boy Meets World would be the best show and Full House the second at my top 5 list. 7th Heaven is 45 minutes episodes, of course they can build up a bigger story/plot in their episodes than FH, you can´t really compare those shows.

Let´s finnish the post - FH is a very very good show, BMW might be better but FH is not "corny". And you can´t really compare 7th Heaven and a half hour sitcom.

We were getting along till I read the locked N@N thread. He was a jerk to me, and I even used to spend a portion of my posting time to defend him? I just don't think he's worth defending any more. What did I do to you in the N@N thread?

Why should he have to shut up when someone is bashing him? So I can bash you and you shut up? that sounds like fun Exactly. No one was really fighting until around Pg. 3 or 4..which is when Vegas Girl came in with her story about something that happened 3 months ago.
