I love the faces. Especially in Dramas...I swear to god, my favorite thing, is when people make faces when someone says something that is really crazy.
Alot of shows have good faces though

Me too...facial expressions are a good part of what makes someone funny, serious....But My Favorite Thing About TV is that it makes me forget about my job, or school...

Everybody's faults become assets on TV (especially in sitcoms). That's why I love it. TV has taught me to embrace my imperfections.

My favorite thing about tv is getting lost in the shows I watch. For me, it's like an alternate universe where the characters on tv are people I Know or familiar with and look forward to seeing everyday. The escapism is what I like most about tv.

Escapism. I feel like I am part of the show when I watch it. it takes my mind off problems I might be having(at least for a little while) :)

I love that too.
Also.... with TV for the most part, people aren't as ugly as real-life.

Pure escapism.
Plus it fuels my imagination.
Ditto with escapism.
When I watch AMC and DAYS, I get tangled in the stories that I really begin to know the characters and I can start reading their minds and predicting their next actions.
I get a feeling of being excepted when I watch soaps because in the real world, it's much much harder to be excepted by peers. I can watch AMC, and not worry about what I look like while watching. I can put on bermuda shorts and "I'M WITH STUPID" shirt while watching and no one would remark on anything, because they can't see me!
It's like I get the chance to look into these people's homes and businesses and learn every single thing that they are doing, and that is just awesome.
I know it's all actors and that it's written, but that doesn't matter. If the acting is good and the writing is good, it's just like real life.
And plus it's my only oppourtunity to stare at Susan Lucci and Lauren Koslow without them getting scared!

It's nice to "escape" just for a half of an hour at least.

TV for me, is a place to escape from the harsh realities of everyday life
