And just where is "Spanish Fly" by Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam?
I love almost all of those albums listed, so I couldn't pick just one. Music wise, 1987 was one of my favorite years

I don't need to say which one is my favorite do I? I think most of you know already, so that's the only one in the poll that gets my vote. Other than that, my favorites on the list are George Michael - Faith, Suzanne Vega - Solitude Standing, Guns N Roses - Appetite For Destruction and LL Cool J - Bigger And Deffer. I also own U2 - The Joshua Tree, Michael Jackson - Bad, Whitney Houston - Whitney, INXS - Kick and the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack.
Not in the poll but major personal favorites that year: Introducing The Hardline According To Terence Trent D'arby, Hearsay by Alexander O'Neal and Nothing Like The Sun by Sting. And also Lonesome Jubilee by John Cougar Mellencamp, Circumstantial Evidence by Shalamar, Characters by Stevie Wonder and self titled debut albums from Jody Watley and Wendy & Lisa. Uh, I think I mentioned everything.

I picked the album "Faith" by George Michael. Other albums I have is on the list are Whitney Houston's "Whitney", "Dirty Dancing" Soundtrack (I have it on vinyl) and Michael Jackson "Bad" and the other one that I don't have is "Tiffany". You forgot to add more albums from 1987 on the list, "Tiffany", Melba Moore "A Lot of Love" and Michael Cooper "Love Is a Silly Game".

Ah - it was a tough decision between Whitney H. and Michael J. - they both had really good albums...

But let us not forget TIFFANY!:D He album "Tiffany" came out in 1987, too!

I pick Pink Floyd - A Momentary Lapse Of Reason

The concert,NOT THE ALBUM!!

I have the first 1/2 of that concert on cassette and its excellent... I wouldnt want the 2nd half where most songs I love from them in the 70s are done by someone else in the group!

The first 1/2 is the best!

I voted for Tango In The Night. I also have and odd, but true story concerning that album. I was at work one day and usually kept my radio on the same station. I went to lunch in the break room and left the radio at my work area. Before going back I called the station to speak to a friend who was working in the control room and to request a song or 2. When he answered he said congratulations, you're caller 10. I'm standing there totally dumbfounded and he said you just won Fleetwood Mac's new CD 'Tango In The Night'. I then explained why I was calling and that I couldn't hear the station in the break room. He said you mean to tell me you had no idea we were doing the contest yet you call in at the right moment and wind up being caller 10? I said I'm just as shocked as you are. I got the CD in the mail a few days later. I have won many radio station contests, but never like that.

By 1987 I had pretty much stopped buying albums and was losing interest in the music scene. One album from 1987 that's in my album collection is Inside Information by Foreigner. Not a bad album but not a great one either.

Laura Branigan's 1987 album Touch is another one I have. That's a pretty good album. Probably her second best album after Self Control. As far as I know, songs for the Touch album were recorded in 1986 but the albums actual release year was 1987.
