I would have to say that this game was a SUCCESS. It was juicy, funny, creative and felt like the actual characters. Kudos to everyone that participated and brought the game to life.
NOW....I'm asking you (whether you decided to play with us or not) to rate our episode. Yes, we will be having another game, new topic, very soon. And we'd like for even more people to post and participate...especially those that I know are on here very often and can give us a line or 2 (TVshowanalyzer :D ).
We're using a rating scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best. In addition to your rating, feel free to provide rationale, what you liked, didn't like. Topics you'd maybe like to see or some suggestions on how we could improve the game. All CONSTRUCTIVE feedback is more than welcome.
So post away to our create an episode: Thelma's big secret.

I'd give it a 9, Everyone did a great job and I had fun. However, I could've done a better job with Michael and also Leroy toward the end.
Suggestions for an episode:
Blackout: Unusual Heatwave occurs in september, the city's power can't handle all the A/C's being on and throws all of Chicago into darkness.
A Big Wind --weather related episode.
since they live in the mid-west, It would be interesting to see how they handle a tornado warning. Could also cause them to lose power.

Good episode! I'll give it an 8...next time I'd like to make it more humorous and even change the charcters personalities.Like in the episode we did when James thought Florida was pregnant,it would've been funny for her to say"not me,you idiot!" but I know Florida that we know wouldn't say that...

Overall, I would have to give the episode a solid 8. The dialogue remained within character and there were twists and turns at every direction. The only inconsistency I saw was with following the events of other posts. For example, someone would post that JJ and Michael go into Thelma's room. The next post may have a character in the living room talking to JJ. I'm like, "wait, i thought he left."
Other than that minor thing, I think it went well. I agree that for the next time around, we have to make sure we don't forget about the humor. The classic punchlines that James and JJ are known for.
Good work to all!

I'll have to agree with you Knl on that one. I'll give the episode a 7.5. I can't say that I agree with James holding Thelma up by the kneck. Yes he spoke violently and he threatened a lot and he even beat with the belt but I honestly don't believe he would grab baby girl by the throat for whatever reason.:(

you know, laneyday, i was torn about going there when i posted. but i thought about how much he loved thelma and the fact that she was his "good girl" and could do no wrong. and then to be confronted by the fact that she is NOT all those things that he built her up to be, TOP onto this that he sees her future ruined...my thinking is that he would lose it. In that frame of mind, I pictured him doing something completely out of the ordinary and out of control. i didn't picture him choking her but grabbing her up and holding her in front of him.
there's something about a father and his little girl and i wanted to portray the drama around that.

I hear you on that one. I can understand the intensity in that respect.
