Are any fo you here getting the DVD releases of the original Star Wars trilogy? It looks interesting- but as much as Lucas wants the films to be what he intended (which I think is a lie- I dobut when he was making them int he 70's he thought about the future technologies to redo the films- plus, the changes weren't too drastic- re-animations, enhancing picture etc), I think he should give the option of the original releases. http://www.thedigitalbits.com/reviews3/starwarschanges.html
has the new changes being made for the 2004 release. Hayden Christiensen is at the end of Return of the Jedi playing Anakin's ghost! It makes sense- but at the same time looks slightly weird and ridiculous.

Did they chance Darth Vader's face, when he was unmasked at the end of "Return of the Jedi?" I heard, when he is unmasked, they put the actor who played Anakinn Skywalker in the prequils.

I don't know about that particular scene but at the end of the movie, where Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakan's ghosts are seen, they replace the original Anakin with Hayden Christiansen like webuster said.

So, AKA, I know you're big on not buying DVDs that are edited, but.... what about Star Wars??

I picked up my set the other day but I haven't watched them yet. I plan on checking them out all weekend.

Don't tell me how it ends, okay?

The DVDs are awesome. But the changes they made, I'm not sure if I like them. Like at the end of the Return of the Jedi. With Aniken. Ugh, that was kinda weird...

I wish I had the editing equipment they have to do all those new features.

I am a amauter film maker. I wish I knew how to retouch up a old movie like they did.
