Did anybody ever see an episode where Thelma came in the apartment and announced to everyone that Michael can sing and then Michael started a little rendition of 'Young And In Love'? Was this just my imagination or was there an episode with that particular scene? I expected it to be in the third season DVD somewhere before'The Rent Party'. Or did I over look it?:confused:

Either it's on your imagination, or it's something that was last seen on CBS in 1976-LOL I'm like that with certain things about the jeffersons. I wanted to know did I actually see George and Louise in a cab in the closing credits riding around checking out the sights in Manhattan or was it just a dream or my imagination-lol

Michael only sings in the apartment one time and that was the 4th season episode that TV ONE also skips a lot. DAMM! Anyway-lol, that episode is called The Judy Cohen Story. That episode is my favorite of season 4 and i think vashti99 feels the same way about that episode.

Question.... Why would they put that scene on the fourth season when it's obvious from the third season that Florida and family already knows Michael can sing. Who wrote this?:confused: Did they get a new staff of writers or something?:rolleyes:

Wasn't the song he sings in that episode something like "let's do it, let's fall in love"? Something like that. That's one of the few episodes I recorded from TBS.

Since TV ONE has not aired Judy Cohen Story, i'm veryy confidenrt that's the episode laneyday is referring to. I hope TV ONE airs t next week. IF TV ONE airs it, I can send you a copy with the 2 that's my mama episodes so you will have a total of 3 episodes-LOL_LOL

The Judy Cohen Story?? No thanks. I'll do without that one. When the season 4 dvd comes out, that'll be an episode I watch once and that's it. When I'm home today, I'll watch the tape and see what song Michael and that group was singing.

They defintely wasn't singng When your young and in love. I have the TBS and UPN version. I'm hoping i can trash both of those versions next week

FINALLY, The Judy Cohen Story Episodes airs tomorrow on TV ONE and I will let yall know for sure if that scene with Michael and Thelma is in that episode. My TBS and UPN versions of that episodes are no longer needed-LOL!!!!

Michael only sings in the very beginning, the episode is mainly about J.J managing Judy Cohen's singing career.

I have to find out if that episode begins with Michael & the Dynomites singing. The recording I have from TBS starts out with them singing that song (do you wanna fall in love). It seems like it should have begun with a scene to let people know what was going on.

Yeah the TBS version is very confusing-LOL As soon as the ep starts you see Michael and the Dynomites Singing.

WHAT?-LOL Judy kicked it, she was like- "SEND IN, THE CLOWN!!!!-LOL

I will say this about Judy, she could sing but she was so damm UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-LOL LMAO!!!!!

The funny part about the Judith episode was when a real agent told JJ take shove on. "Be a clown be a clown, be a clown".

on TV One, the episode starts with Willona instructing the singing group how to sing-"Baby, Baby, Baby"

Correction, THe exact minutes of cut footage by TBS was 3:18 from the beginning and my local UPN station cut 2:00 min of footage from the beginning. So UPN cut a lot less than TBS.

I just saw that episode, he sung the song When You're Young and in love. The dance he did was kinda fruity, but he didn't sound too bad. florida wilona and Thelma sang stop in the name of love. I know wilona can sing, but I was shocked Thelma had a nice voice. They could have done without florida though. Yeah, it was The Rent Party.
