Man, when did the writers stop writing jokes? the only funny thing I saw in the episode was J.Lo waiting for the elevator. the rest was okay, but not really funny. At least in past seasons, even if the storylines were crap, you could count on great one-liners, but they were oddly missing from the premiere.

I'm hoping it's going to get better. I'm trying not to be too picky about last nights episode because it dealt with sensitive subject matter - Grace being upset that Leo cheated on her and the end of their marriage. You can't get too many jokes from that kind of material. Luckily, Debra Messing is no longer pregnant so Grace can bounce off the walls again and use lots of energy.

I'm still trying to get used to the way the characters have changed - the writers seem to have made Will gayer, made Jack more like a little kid and they have made Karen lose a little of her rich/drunk attitude. When was the last time Karen made fun of Grace's clothes? I miss that.

Probably the most ironic thing now is that, at the moment, the most unlikely character (Will) is the only character that isn't single. Grace and Leo are no more, ditto Karen and Lyle and with Jack cheating on Stuart, they are done as well. They said on the View the other day that Vince is going to be Will's steady boyfriend this season.

I liked the whole Kabbala (sp) thing! Me and my brother went to Wal-Mart and Circuit City with our "Kabbala" we made the night before - I wore my Kabbala all through the EMMY show and all my favorite actors won - except Megan...*sigh*

I'm not wearing my Kabbala now - darnit! I should!
