Can we all agree that the Florida Evans character was much more entertaining than Louise Jefferson? This was a debate that started on the Jeffersons board and i just wanted to know everyone's opinion. Louise Jefferson was never as funny as Florida Evans.

Florida was way funnier than Louise. Weezie was funny too, but in a classy way.

Louises' character was more about keeping George in line. Florida's character was more about keeping the family afloat.

Louise was making sure george didn't forget where he came from

Florida kept the family afloat and also let the kids learn there own lessons and learning from her kids too

Louise was a funnier foil. And was especially funnier when dealing with "Mother Jefferson"

Louise Jefferson was a lot different in personality than Florida; they were both classy, and were funny to a degree, but neither were slap stick; if I had to choose between the two, I would have to pick Florida; she had her moments, especialy when she was dealing with the antics of JJ and James, that she was quite funny to the point that you find yourself...laughing out loud:)

my vote is for florida. weezy never made me laugh really. she was the calm, rational one in that relationship that had to keep george from embarrassing them. she was a VERY good support character that served as the butt of jokes or difused situations before they got out of control.

florida was more passionate to me and funnier. all you have to do is picture her mocking james' laugh then rolling her eyes:

- Cabin episode on their anniversary

hilarious. she had quite a few punchlines herself against JJ and had some funny exchanges with James when he would get tempermental.
