I think it goes

Streaks on the China
Never mattered before
who cared
If you drop kicked your jacket
No one Glared
But sometimes things get turned around and No one spared
All hands look out below
There's a change in the status quo
Gonna need all the help that we can get
According to our new arrival
Life is more than mere survival
We just might live the good life yet.

but I am not sure?

Oh, thanks that reminded me that I always wanted to learn those words, and couldn't catch them while watching the show.

There is a really cool long version to the Mr. Belvedere theme by the guy who wrote the song. Check it out: http://www.garyportnoy.com

I only heard the Cheers theme, and didn't have time to explore the site, but You Tube has uploads of the beginning theme --I know it also has the end theme, too.

Mr. Belvedere short opening

You left out one part....

If you drop kicked your jacket
As you walked through the door,
no one glared.

Otherwise, you got it! Great theme....sung by Leon Redbone, in that easy, laid-back, matter-of-fact style of his!
