I heard on another board that they pushed that date back to sometime in October. I hope they were wrong, though.

I recieved the fall newsletter and it's in there. It looks like it could be available 'cause I doesn't have any comments on release dates or pre-ordering.

I am sure the book is already produced, just the release date, i am sure if you called up Borders or Barnes and Noble they could give you a date on that book. That is what I did when Lee's book came out, only then I had already preordered from the Museum, it was out in bookstores before I got the book.

Apparently the release date is October 12 now. You can pre-order it from Amazon.com, but it says they won't be sending it out until that date. So I guess we've got 3 weeks yet. :(

Well i am most certain it will be worth waiting for. I remember anticipating the arrival of Love, Lucy back n 1996, It is a great book, a must read for all Lucy fans, and Historians alike, but the only thing that dissapointed me was it only went up to the 60's, I wish Lucy would have had the chance to finish it.

And I was right It WAS Worth Waiting For!!!

I love all the great candid pictures and papers that go with it.

What a great glimpse. Makes me want to go to Washington to the Library of Congress and check out the actual scrapbooks.
