GARFIELDKOOL 09-13-2004, 12:30 PM WOULDN'T A SANFORD AND SON-CHICO AND THE MAN CROSSOVER WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT IDEA? BOTH AIRED ON NBC, SAME CITY, SAME ERA. BOTH SHOWS FEATURED PARTNERS IN THE BUSINESS. I DON'T THINK FRED AND ED WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ALONG TOO WELL. CHICO AND LAMONT WOULD HAVE.

Hey Garfield - try not using ALL CAPS ALL THE TIME. It's much easier to read that way.

Are you AFRODOUG from the TV LAND Message Boards?
GARFIELDKOOL 09-14-2004, 10:42 AM FIRST OF ALL, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO READ CAPS, IF YOU HAVE GOOD EYES. AND NO, I'M NOT AFRODOUG FROM THE TVLAND MESSAGE BOARD. BUT I DID COPY HIS POST.
GARFIELDKOOL 09-14-2004, 12:13 PM By the way, just to make you happy, I'll stop using the caps. if your're going to get on this post, respond to the topic. Don't worry about what i'm using.

Gee - thanks so much for your concern about my happiness.
Actually, I'm not "worried" in the least about what you do or use. I'm just pointing out that it's a widely recognized matter of good "netiquette" not to type in ALL CAPS.
Make sense? I sure hope so.
GARFIELDKOOL 09-15-2004, 10:45 AM Hey tvanalyzer, you still didn't respond to the topic. I'm new to this board, and from what I see, you'll be on a lot of these posts.
Brian Damage 09-15-2004, 11:01 AM yeah, the ALL CAPS is annoying.

I didn't respond because i responded to similar post on the TV LAND Message Board. I didn't feel like saying the same thing again-lol
GARFIELDKOOL 09-16-2004, 10:32 AM What ever happened to people's prefrences? Maybe I preferred to use the caps. That's what it was there for. It is an option. We all have options in life. If you chose to use all small letters, then that's your business. I would respect that. It's not a matter of what's annoying to me. It's a matter of what someone chooses to do. OK?
Caffeine King 09-16-2004, 06:04 PM GarfieldKool, have you ever heard of plagiarism?
And the all caps is annoying, I agree... :o

Not to belabor the point, but what I said above holds true.
That is:
"it's a widely recognized matter of good "netiquette" not to type in ALL CAPS."
You certainly can do what you want, but I've *never* seen nor heard of any internet forum that welcomes ALL CAPS. It makes the message difficult to read and denotes that the author is SHOUTING.
I don't think I can make this any more clear.
GARFIELDKOOL 09-17-2004, 10:17 AM So I guess you are not going to reply to the subject that we jumped way off of?
Caffeine King 09-17-2004, 01:24 PM Why should we?
You stole the topic from another person from another message board...

GARFIELDKOOL 09-17-2004, 02:00 PM I didn't think every site had the same readers. But i guess most sites do.
