i don't like

the first 15 episodes of season 1 and a few more from season 1 and 2

anytime lucy becomes silly taking someone else off or when she is doing several acts in ricky's show

do like

episodes with little ricky,the country episodes

i listed these because i like them but a lot of fans think that little ricky was a scene stealer and the country episodes lacked chemistry but i thought that the show stayed strong in these areas

when all four of them are arguing

the show really takes off here the acting is terrific and the episodes are a riot!!

looking at all 179 episodes the show just got stronger and has really stood the test of time :wave:

It's normal not to like eps of Season 1; they were just starting the show and were doing it 'one day at a time' kinda deal here.. I enjoy most of those 'primitive' eps including the pilot a whole lot.

It was Lucy's 'job' to get into everything she could and be in his acts most of the time. I agree that most of the time they weren't that great but 'Cuban Pals, 'The Diet', 'Jezebel' and 'The Indian Show' are great to me.

The Country eps are good but not all of them are great as earlier seasons;the last ep 'Lucy and the Statue' is rarely seen anywhere and that's sad. I like little Ricky but also can do without him sometimes..They all looked like they had aged quite a bit (especially Lucy and Desi) and that things were not smooth around the edges anymore.

That's why almost 200 eps were made; so we can watch the ones we like and not watch the ones we can't stand
