I've got some tapes like that. They are actually 5 hours long, but you can get 10 hours worth of stuff on them if you record it on long play.

Who sells them? I remember calling best buy and circuit city and the highest they had was T-180

I got mine in WH Smith, but you can buy them pretty much anywhere that sells blank videos. I've seen them in lots of places so they're not hard to come by.

Yes, I've seen T-200 tapes. That was in the early 90's, though. I think they were more plentiful then. I did a quick search on them and you can buy a 3-pack of 10-hour tapes for $20- pretty expensive.

A T-200 tape would give you 10 hours in EP mode. Thats the lower quality mode.

In the High quality recording mode SP you would only get 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Heard of them, but never seen any around here. I do remember reading though that the tape is thinner than it is in a normal T-120 or 160. And because of that, they don't hold up as well in the longterm.

Yep, plus wouldn't the tapes be pretty heavy? Those 8-hour tapes in the 80's were pretty heavy...I couldn't imagine a 10-hour tape...Plus, what about the VCR attempting to eject the tape?

Just a few things I thought of when I saw this...

I dunno. Maybe if the tape is thinner, they'd be the same weight. *shrugs* But those 80s and early 90s tapes rule. Heavy is best!
