I absutlutely hated Pearl and Kimberly.

Well before yesterday's episodes(the ones where mr. drummond meets maggie) i would have said the character i hated was adelaide but now that i've seen maggie i hate her! i mean...i thought it was pretty nice that mr. drummond finally got married but i dont know i just dont like maggie.

I hate Sam because he basically got Willis off of the show. I also HATE Maggie because she is so rude and Abnoxious, and she and Sam weren't even funny. I give them 2 Thumbs Down.

Maggie is annoying, Mr. Drummond is old and his jokes aren't funny and Pearl...I'm scared of her.

I'm chosing Sam, he just did not fit in with that whole crowd. He was too much of a Pollyanna. Maggie wasn't that great either.
But I really hated Sam. Little Goody Two Shoes. Scuse me, i'm going to listen to my Adam Ant cd now.

The character I hated most had to been adalade she wuz an old geaser with nothing funny to say. the best house keeper wuz ms. garrett she atleast had some funny lines!

Mr Drummunds Wife and her stupid daughter, Ruined the show i think

mine are absolutely maggie and sam. maggie was not a very nice person. she was very rude to arnold. i'm not surprised arnold never really cared for her. sam was pretty annoyng. he was always around arnold. kimberly left soon after they came in, and willis's apperances greatly decrease for some stupid reason, and it was terrible.
the final episode should have been whem mr.drummond was married.

I totally agree. Sam and Maggie totally ruined and screwed up Diff'rent Strokes. That's in my opinion why it started to suck. More of Sam meant less Arnold. More about Maggie, less appearences and episodes about Kimberly and Willis.

Maggie. Too pushy,bossy,gold digger, also she had to be replaced. I liked Sam tough.

I kinda agree but I think that if Diff'rent Strokes was given a chance it would have went on for 12 years and I hated Sam, Willis is my favorite cause he knoes what's goin on and He's a ladies man and when Sam came in we didn't see Willis mess up his relationship with Charlene which was always funny and by the way I am writing a Fan Fic about Willis and Charlene getting married

I would have to say-

Maggie- She wasn't funny and I thought the part was badly acted by Dixie and Mary.

Sam- I've got used to him but he still shunted my favourite character Willis off.

Pearl- I think they tried to make her too much like Mrs garret and it didn't work!

I disliked Maggie, Pearl, and Adelane.

I really hated Pearl and Sam.You kind of got use to maggie after a while but I didn't like her to much either.

I hate Maggie. She was so,mean and bossy and want Mr.Drummond all for hersef. She sucks.

I actually got use to sam, but i would have liked the show alot better with out maggie or sam. I liked Episodes With arnold and his friends, i thought they were pretty good.

Hello there, everybody.
I'm so happy I found this site and this Diff'rent Strokes' forum.
I need to introduce myself, shouldn't I?
My name is Daniel, I'm 12 and I live in Tel Aviv, Israel.
I started to watch Diff'rent Strokes two years ago (in approximation) when it started to show up on the screen, after the 70', since I'm positive it was here too back then.
2 years is alot, and I'm pretty sure I saw all of this show's episodes, it stopped, but a few monthes ago it has striked again!
I hate to say, that the only one who didn't say pathetic jokes was Arnold, he himself wasn't that funny either, I mean that 'Watchu talkin' 'bout?' was pretty awesome, but it easily became just as lame as the other lines.
All of them were irritating, I can't really remember the episodes of Sam and Maggy (but they'll arrive soon), but I'm rather certain that Pearl was the most irritating one!
She had this crazy ambition to be treated as a fine lady, a good house made, a great kidder, or in short- just as an another house member, tell me... is it just me or am I right?
I thought Gary Coleman was actually 'Webster', but now I know it's a shorter guy named Emanuel Lewis, I remember watching a 'Moeesha' episode with him dancing with her.
If you ask me, the little bastard raped her, and so, was removed out of the TV world as punishment.

I didn't care for Maggie because I think she’s a walking contradiction, Sam because of that fake Southern accent he had and Adelaide because she wasn't funny.

I agree with the people who said that Maggie and Sam ruined Diff'rent Strokes and to think, TV producers and the like think that adding characters will save a show!! :mad:
