View Full Version : Respect the mustache: "M*A*S*H" Season 7 cover art. AKA 09-09-2004, 04:47 PM From TVShowsonDVD.com: TJL 09-09-2004, 07:06 PM Nice lip carpet Beej! ;) Dr. Thong 09-18-2004, 10:00 PM Never liked B.J.'s '70s 'stache and hair. It got even worse when Hot Lips started sporting an '80s perm in a show that was supposed to take place in the '50s. TJL 09-19-2004, 03:45 AM He looks cheesy... ;) Ant-Lox 10-18-2004, 01:47 PM I like the mustache Bea 10-22-2004, 05:53 AM I liked BJ's mustache as much as I liked Trapper's hair. Don't you know that everyone in the 50's looked just like the cast of M*A*S*H. Actually, Margaret's hair always bothered me. It always looked grey; and that feathered look needed to go. It was just as bad, if not worse, on Happy Days when Joanie had an '80s perm and the dreaded Chachi had feathered hair and wore denim jackets, all the rage back in the early '60s, right?? rosenylund12 11-29-2004, 06:32 PM Originally posted by Dr. Thong It was just as bad, if not worse, on Happy Days when Joanie had an '80s perm and the dreaded Chachi had feathered hair and wore denim jackets, all the rage back in the early '60s, right?? OH NO!!!! You're bringing back bad memories. I never understood Happy Days after Richie left. I rank the Ted McGinely years of Happy Days up there with George Clooney's time with Facts of Life: Bad, bad, bad! Anyway, I will always love M*A*S*H but will never be able to accept the scary 70s grooming. Dr. Thong 11-29-2004, 06:46 PM Originally posted by rosenylund12 OH NO!!!! At least in the beginning, HD paid attention to period detail (clothes, dress, expressions, etc), but as time wore on, they didn't bother. It got worse as time went on, with afros, feathered hair, perms, etc. Doo Dah 16 12-08-2004, 01:15 AM Yay! It's heeere! "A Night at Rosie's" has been playing in my head all day...I can't wait to watch it! It's the only thing that made me feel better about this year being nearly over. party: popcorn: :cheer:, ~Jillian¤ |
