First off, Happy Turkey day guys!! Hope you're having a good thanksgiving! I was watching the cowboy game, and boy do they suck big time!! Well anyways, did anyone like the Thanksgiving crossover? I think Mr. D and Larry Alder make a good team together. And Kim Richards is pretty cool.

Ouch I missed it, I missed it.....Can you give us a synopsis?

Well, let's see...it was on TV Land and the Alders come visit Drummond for Thanksgiving to discuss Larry's plan for a T.V. show. And of course, Drummond is deciding not to go for it, and him and Alder get into a fight. But then they both talk it over and they eventually come to an agreement. And the kids agrue with each other as well. And Arnold is still funny. I wish they had more and more crossovers like in the later seasons. That would have been cool.

Thanks for refreshing my memory, Curtis, and I'm glad we're still on speaking terms. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif You had me wondering for a moment there when you disappeared from the chit-chat board today.

Anyway, it kills me that I don't always have time now to watch TV, and even worse, DS may not be seen on TV for a long time now. Double-bummer for today's generation of kids who have never had a chance to see this show.

I enjoyed the special, but the closing credits got me wondering. There must have been additional scenes that were edited out because there was a still of Arnold with a towel and the line from Willis telling Arnold that he would back at him. Also, did anyone think it was silly for Mr. D to confess to Arnold that Larry wasn't going to get his TV Station? My Father would never divulge such info. to me.

;) Have a nice day ;)

It is a great show. I check on and read Dana's memorial guest book from time to time and there is always another young person writing in to say how much they love the show.

Of course we're still on speaking terms Paula! I'm still gonna talk to ya! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I'm just glad you're still speaking to me, after I made a fool of myself! I've been pretty busy putting Christmas decorations and stuff, that's why I've been absent from the boards. But, hey don't sweat it!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yeah, isn't it great Kitt, how there's still some people out there who still love the show. I check Dana's guestbook from time to time too. It just makes me so happy.

I understand Curtis. I know what you mean about being busy; I've spent way too much time at the boards yesterday. Did I mention that I'm writing my thesis now? Shame on me for not having enough will power to stay away from the boards, LOL.

Wow, a thesis eh? What's it about? Is it hard, by the way what is your major? Sorry for the questions, just sounds real interesting. I think though, I'm just the opposite of you, I think I need to spend more time in the boards. Its just frustrating because my computer is really slow, and it takes a little while to load up, but not too long.

It's about the profession of "International Student Advising" (referring to international exchange students in the U.S.). We have folks at just about every college & university in the U.S. who have this job function and must advise them on visa regulations, but not all of them are receiving proper job training- either that or their school budget is so low that the school isn't at least paying for them to receive decent training at conferences (networking via a major organization).

I got interested in this field a while back when I had roommates from overseas when I was in college. It was quite a rewarding experience. Unfortunately, right now is an awkward time for me to be in this field, because student visas are difficult to come by right now, due to recent terrorist attacks.

Yeah, I can understand that b/c of the recent terrorist attack. But, hey lots of luck to you Paula on writing your thesis, it sounds like a real important issue, and I bet it will be great. I can already tell you're one smart chick! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Ummm I can't say that I'm really smarter than the average student, but when I want to, I try hard. Of course, I'd rather be doing other things (like coming to these boards) http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the compliment anyhow! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif
