While just surfing around the net, I discovered a couple of tidbits I never knew about John Ratzenberger.

1. John played Major Bren Derlin in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

2. John Ratzenberger's character, Cliff Clavin, has appeared in five shows so far: Cheers, St. Elsewhere, The Tortellis, Wings and Frasier. This makes Ratzenberger the fourth actor only with this record. The others include Richard Belzer (Detective John Munch), Camryn Manheim (Ellenor Frutt), and George Wendt (Norm Peterson).

He's actually been on 6 if you count The Simpsons.
(which puts him in the lead, tied with Norm.... which is also ironic because they both appeared together in each of those shows)

We'll probably see Munch on L&O CI this year to help out his record ;)

Probably L&O TBJ too.

I've never liked L&O, but if it's true that John Mahoney and Candice Bergen will be in the cast of TBJ, I'd definately tune in.

I've been watching the L&O Marathon all day :)

I actually like SVU more, but I have pretty much seen all of the episodes. I really wish Homicide was on in syndication

at any rate, i dont like CI that much, and I dont know how TBJ will be, seeing as The Jury sucked, but it wasnt Dick Wolf

TBJ will have Briscoe and Ross though, I think Ross is a judge now and the trials will be in her courtroom or something.

Briscoe will just play a minor role in it I think. Munch and Briscoe have the greatest chemistry pretty much ever, so they might have Munch drop by.

Seeing that you're a L&O fan, maybe you can clarify -- are John Mahoney and/or Candice Bergen in TBJ??

Homicide is in syndication, I think it is on A&E or Court TV or something like that. I saw an episode about a week ago.

lemme look into that, I've only seen it on when it is a L&O Crossover

edit: I cant find it on aetv.com, courttv.com, and I posted about it on the TVTome forums a while ago, and checked back, and no one has seen it on tv

The problem is the best part of the other ones is

"Yeah? Well you will have alot of time to think about it in Attaca"
"I'll put you in jail for the rest of your life"
"Tell your client that makes him a murderer"
"Maybe you'll be more cooperative after you spend the night at Rikers Island"

I dunno how TBJ will really be, it isnt such a great premise, I'm not sure who John Mahoney will be, he is too old to be a security guard around murderers, I just dont know how many reoccuring characters you really need in a court room. (if it is about the same courtroom every episode, you know)

I read Mahoney was going to be a judge.
