I think actually the best years were when Chrissy left, and they Gave more scenes with Jack & Mr. Furley.. I think thoses 2 were the best together .. ever for any comedey series.. what a combo!!

* but I feel the peeck/ funniest time was when Chrissy left.. they spead up the whole series.. with Dave Powers.. and Cindy & Teri were BOTH on the show.. that whole half year was THE BEST!! and the Funniest!!!

Note- seasons with Chrissy a definite plus. Big disappointment when she left (I remember it.)

As you can see, I think the show was at its peak during the 2nd and 3rd seasons. Still very watchable in its last two seasons, especially when compared to the other sitcoms of the time. I watched this show from day one- March, 1977 (I was 15 and 1/2 years old), so this is very familiar to me.

Well it seems like right now the most popular seasons are 2-5, and the least popular are 7 and 8.

Seasons 1-3 were the classic Jack, Janet, and Chrissy episodes. They had the best chemistry.
Season 4 had Lana and the Chrissy character was getting a little too dumb and she thought she was the star of the show.
Season 5 had alot of physical humor and classic episodes with JANET'S SECRET and DOUBLE TROUBLE being the best. Long live Austin Tripper!!!
Season 6 episodes with Cindy were the best ones. MAID TO ORDER and URBAN PLOWBOY being the best.
Season 7 is when the show "jumped the shark" because of the introduction of Jacks Bistro. That was a bad idea.
Season 8 is when we had the unfortuante expirence of being introduced to VICKY! Which was the worst idea ever!!!!
