The DVDs are COOL, but they are lacking in any special features. The scenes that were removed for commercial spots have been added back as well as other scenes never before seen on TV. Some of the episodes seem exactly like they are on TV. Here is one shot never before seen on TV.
The picture below has Ralph working under the hood of his car, he's wearing a red jacket and the person walking across the parking lot in blue is Richie, but check out the sign on the restaurant.

I noticed that scene, but I didnt know that it was never shown on TV. Before the DVD, I had only seen the syndicated eps so I thought this was from the original airing. :)
The first ep called "All the Way"
Richie is set up (with the help of Potsie) to go on a date with this chick that is worldly.
In this ep, Ralph sees Richie walking by and says, "Hey Cunningham, where are you going?"
Richie stops to answer, but doesn't even look at Ralph. "All the way."
Ralph bumps his head on the hood of his car.
Yes, I can see why they never aired this clip.

That's an awesome shot. It looks so much like something straight out of the 1950's. Great cars too.
I don't have the DVD yet, but I hope to get it soon.

I notice the sign "Arthurs" clearly in the 1st episode, I don't remember it before. Also, there's one with Chuck at the dinner table in "give the band a hand.'' I hope Paramount does other years.
