David Spade
Following Phil Hartman's model, the Hollywood Minute man opted for a smaller part as snippy secretary Dennis Finch on NBC's mid-season sitcom Just Shoot Me. Though you wouldn't know it from watching the Peacock's Spade-heavy promos, Laura San Giacomo is the series' ostensible star, as a writer at a fashion mag owned by her dad (George Segal). The setup allows Spade to chime in with well-times wisecracks - and ample opportunities for the diminutive comic to nip at the heels of leggy models.
