Cliff puts a nice smooth jazz song on his record player and he goes out and grabs two apples, and him and clair sit ont he couch and romantically eat the apples. Please I would like to know the name of the song. Thank you.

i have good news! i, too, was looking for the information about that song for about 6 months. i saw your messages on this board back then, and now, with the new information, realized i must come back and report! so i even joined this site to respond to you. the name of the song at the end of "the younger woman" is called "In A Sentimental Mood" performed by John Coltrane and Duke Ellington. It is also on the album "In A Soulful Mood"--yay!
hope this helps!

BLESS YOUR PRECIOUS SOUL!!!
I have been trying to name this song for YEARS!!!!
I just came from a Jazz muzic board trying to get the name of the song and within minutes I find it here.
Thank you.
I hear it constantly and I am dying to purchase the single or album and add it to my mp3 playlist.
THANK YOU!!
Chelle
P.S
This is an edit.
i FEEL VERY SLOW
It is like DeJa vu.
I have the song already but I have the Duke Ellington version from one of his cd's.
I have both Coltrane and Duke Ellington's albums and uploaded them on my mp3 player. I know I heard the song on my mp3 player and stopped in my tracks two weeks ago and I couldnt believe I had it on my mp3. That is why the name looked so familiar. But it is a different version. I knew it was a song that I was trying to remembe rbut I didnt place it with the Cosby Show because it sounds slightly different I need to get the collaborated version that was from The Cosby SHow.
Anyway, Im just glad I have one version.
