What did you think??

For such a stellar cast of voiceovers, I was very disappointed. Sigfreid and Roy were terrible, as was the storyline.

I missed it! But from your post, I take it that it was OK to miss.

i thought that it relied too heavaley on worn out gags and storylines that we have seen in just about every sitcom since 1950 there was no freshness the only difference was that the stories were about anamials and not people.

The only laugh I had in the entire program was the joke about New Yorker magazine.

"Father" is a real dud.

NBC promoted this show as "the first primetime series with feature film quality CGI animation". To me it didn't look any better then the UPN series "Game Over".

It was #1 last night in the ratings, but it got a 7.0/11 -- if that were happen in the real season, that would be nothing to write home about. Even worse was Scrubs last night, a 5.0/8. Both shows are not going to do well in a few weeks.

Not good.

I did like Lisa Kudrow and andy Richter's guest roles on the show. If the show was about them, then maybe it would stand a chance.

Otherwise, I'd give it four eps then extinction.

I say "give it a chance" how many shows do you know of that have a great first episode?

I find it funny that this has funnier momments than certain recent sitcoms... Most of which FOTP's "haters" love to death.

but FOTP is good, C average, and could last a few seasons seasons. but because NBC was stupid to pay $2 million for this series. (13 episodes?) it will be a longshot

What surprised me is that it outdrew Scrubs.
