Tim Daly takes the lead in the New ABC Primetime series "Eyes".. So since the recent season of Monk has ended, why not have a little joy in seeing another Wings actor at there latest. It will air Fall Midseason on ABC. I believe midseason is October, although I could be wrong.

Actually this is about a Private Investigating firm.. So it's a change from the CSI stuff because there aren't shows on recently that lead in P.I.'s so this will most definitely get good ratings. I saw them discussing the show on TV Guide channel.. The reason the show hasn't had much promotion is because ABC usually keeps things within a month of entering. So like their show called "Lost". They didn't start previews or anything until August because it was coming in September. Eyes is coming out in October I believe, fall midseason, so they probably won't start until we get about a week into september? Maybe even late september depending upon what the exact date of the show airing is.

Eyes is for mid-season 2005. Mid-season is anytime between January-April, not October. Actually the fall shows have had promos since early June, but of course, they started to pick up in late July/early August.

I'm looking forward to seeing Tim in a new series, and I hope that it does well. (Wouldn't it be great if ABC's "Eyes" was a "runaway hit" like CBS' "CSI" or NBC's "Law and Order"?
I think that Tim Daly is more easily accepted in a drama than Steven Weber is. As outstanding as Steven is in his various dramatic parts, many viewers seem disappointed that "he wasn't funny" in the role....Many people want Steven to make them LAUGH, whereas people seem much more accepting of Tim as a dramatic actor....Just my observation.

No no no...
Not the MID-Season, the Mid season.. Mid season meaning Middle of the Season.
Lol. "Eyes" is on this fall, just not at the beginning of fall..
They were talking about the shows coming to ABC in the fall and Eyes was on there. (This was on TVGuide Channel.)

According to ABC's press material, Eyes is for "Early 2005." There is no such thing as a fall mid-season. I cover ABC's shows every year, so I should know. Eyes isn't coming to ABC this fall. These dramas are: Desperate Housewives (Oct 3), Boston Legal (Oct 3), Lost (Sept 22) and life as we know it (Oct 7). How could there be a mid-season in the fall anyway, when the fall season STARTS Sept. 20? The season ends in May. So January or so is usually considered mid-season.
Read my ABC Drama thread for 2004-05
http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?s=&threadid=107245 -- towards the end of the thread I mention which shows got picked up for the fall and mid-season. For mid-season ABC has three dramas coming -- Gray's Anatomy, Eyes, and Blind Justice.

yeah, pavadabal is right.
Mid-season usually means January. a lot of shows have started in January.
For example, this year, new episodes of "Alias" aren't starting until January: mid-season.

Ok. Sorry then, my mistake. But atleast it's coming out. Even if it is in 2005, it's better than not coming out at all.
