In episode #31 "Love Comes to Mockingbird Heights", My DVD pauses in the middle of that episode for about 2 or 3 seconds. Does this happen to anyone else? It happens exactly during when the man calls Grandpa to him that his friend the banker is going to allope with Marilyn at midnight.

I don't have the set yet. But, I can tell you that some of these newer disks are very sensitive because of the features on them. I would take the disk out, and using a soft. lint-free, dry cloth gentle wipe the disk surface always in a straight line from the center of the disk out to the edge. Sometimes with DVD's/CD's, all it takes is a piece of dirt lodged in the wrong place and you will see skipping and fade outs.
Just as some reminders, be careful taking your disks out of the hubs and press down on the hub center so that you don't bend the disk, always handle the disk by the edges as best you can, and put your DVD player in standbye or off mode when not in use.

Mine plays fine, it must just be a defect on your set.

Hey, guess what everybody! It cleared up! No pausing, just as clear and crisp as it originally aired in 1965. :D
