I don't recall seeing it. It's mentioned a lot. Woody wanted it when Sam messed up the gambling debt. Sam dated a woman to get the car back.

It meant the world to him. Did we ever see it?

I remember a teaser where Woody waits in a parking space to hold it for someone... Im almost positive it was for Sams corvette. Other then that, in the episode Diamond Sam they show Sam and Diane in the car, and theres another episode where Woody borrows it to take Kelly out on a date... but again I think they only showed the inside of the car.

The really mystery is, why didn't we ever see anybody from Sam's family, or even his apartment??
In one episode (I don't remember which one), they show the exterir of Sam's apt building

Sam's brother had an important role in the two part episode that was the end of Season 1

Remember, he gave Norm a job, then Norm came back and said "This is rich people cheating on their taxes, they are taking away from the working man like me and all of you people I count as my dependants"

True, but we never saw him.
For being the star, we actually knew less about Sam than any other character. His ex-wife only appeared for maybe 2 minutes on one episode the entire series. Besides that, it was pretty much all a mystery.

And yes, the outside of Sam's apartment was shown in "Coach In Love Part 2" I believe.

What I didnt realize for a while, was that no one at the bar had met Vera either. I always thought that everyone at the bar knew Vera it was just a running joke that you never see her.

The closest we ever got to seeing vera was in the thanksgiving ep where diane through the pie in her face

i thought the gang knew Vera, its just WE never saw her face. i mean, in the ep where john allen hill hired her at melville's, he mustve seen her face. i think sam and/or woody went upstairs at one point, and they mustve seen her then

i dunno, maybe im wrong, but thats what i thought

in one of the earlier episodes where they are scared it will become a gay bar, Cliff says "Norm, what about this Vera, we havnt seen her"

I remember that they showed Sam's car at least twice - and from what I remember, they were two DIFFERENT corvettes!

One was a 70's Sitigray, and the other time it was a 60's model.

I'm not crazy. I remember stuff.

And in the ep where they think Cliff kills his Mom, Carla brings that up too

I think eventually, they all meet Vera at one point or another.
I know for a fact that Cliff knew who she was, because for a while Cliff had been staying at Norm's treating Vera like a queen.

I remember the jokes about the gang having never met Vera early on, but I think after a while they must have all met her. Because, after all, she got a pie thrown on her in the Thanksgiving ep, so she was at Thanksgiving.
