Mostly office work. Like part time secretary or receptionist or something. A BA in English doesn't qualify you for much apparently.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to settle for retail or something...which makes me break out in hives at the thought of that.

You know, I never thought of that. Did you post it at like Monster or Hot Jobs, or more local, like your newspaper's website?

You should give posting a resume online a try. That's how some of the people where I work got a job there. Good luck.

Origionally I was looking for a merchandising job because I wanted flexible hours, so I posted it on a website called NARMS. Someone saw it and called me about 2 weeks later. I did 2 phone interviews before I actually met anyone from my company.
