OMG, that's so sad........ and funny, at the same time, LOL. I've had a pet duckling before, and yes, it CAN fit down a sewer!! They are very small when they're young. ;)

Haha, I saw that the other week and loved it, my friend was all upset...but think about it...either the whole shot was just set up (most likely), the photographer rescued the duckies right after, or they found water again and were probably all fine.

That is so sad. I rescued a little duckling several years ago after it got lost from its mommy duck and its siblings, it was crossing the road by the Auburn SuperMall, and I was trying to keep it from the traffic. How the duck family disappeared so soon, I don't know. I hope that ducky was alright and was safe, and hopefully reunited, the poor tiny thing...:(
