Throughout the 11 year run of Cheers many story arcs were used to either make the characters grow.... or just get some new ideas.

What story-arc was your favorite?? barwars 08-27-2004, 11:41 PM If it weren't for Frasier and Lilith seperating in Season 11, I dont think I wouldve liked either of them as much. So -- I guess thats my favorite story-arc. Least favorite -- which Im sure will get a unanimous vote -- Sam and Rebecca trying to have a baby. *shiver* Chambers 08-27-2004, 11:49 PM My least favorite is the same as yours. ...I'm undecided about my favorite one.... Apart from the ones you mentioned and the obvious Sam and Diane one, what would the other options be? barwars 08-27-2004, 11:56 PM Rebecca and Robin Rebecca and Evan Drake Frasier and Diane in Europe Woody and Kelly (and Henri) the bar burning down I didnt include the Bar Wars, because they were spread over the entire series basically Brian Damage 08-28-2004, 12:13 AM My least favorite was Robin and Rebecca. My favorite is Sam dating the congresswoman and that leading to his proposal to Diane. Chambers 08-28-2004, 12:20 AM I liked Frasier with Diane in Europe (if only for that scene in the ski lodge). But out of all of those, I think Frasier and Lilith was the funniest story-arc. ThirteenInchEscape 08-28-2004, 12:21 AM Woody and Kelly's marriage, that had some great episodes, like when Kelly's dad thought Woody was blackmailing him. The best has to be Sam and Diane, but that lasted a long time. ChambersVsMalone 08-28-2004, 01:47 AM Well, there definitely were a lot of great ones. But I have to admit that I was, like they wanted, suckered into Cheers because of Sam and Diane. So I suppose that's my favorite, if that counts as a story arc itself. The "Strange Bedfellows" arc is just plain brilliant, though. It's so funny, yet so frustrating, I love it. barwars 08-28-2004, 08:46 AM Other Story Arcs: Frasier and Lilith preparing for childbirth Woody becoming a congressman Cliff and Maggie |
