Will there be Special 8SR episodes to mark the 1st year anniversary of John's untimely passing?:(

Yeah thats what i'd like to know too. I think they should do a special episode on 8SR as well as a tribute to him on Sept 11th. I haven't heard anything yet but i guess we shall have to wait......

I was thinking that. They should , They could have some big names on that , like Henry Winkler , he was gonna be on the show , but after Ritters death did not.

Who knows , if its an ep of 8SR , it could be the 4th , I guess we will have to wait until we get the episode name , and synopsis.

1 Thing , If it is a special 8SR , it couldn't air on Sept 11 , since 8sr would not have premiered , and according to the ABC Media Net,its ABC KIDS til 12:00 then College Football , so nothing there :(

No, there will be no on screen special from 8 Simple Rules. But of course they will be thinking a lot about him that weekend of Sept. 10-12. ABC is having their annual Primetime Preview Weekend at Disney, and I'm sure there will be lots of talk about John there by everyone.

Yep, it was his daughter's birthday.

I can't believe he died on his Daughters Birthday , and I think 6 days before his 55th Birthday.
