I don't know what shawn saw in Angela. She was a little to Ghetto for me.

Let's see Angela's mother abandoned her when she was young, Shawn's mother abandoned him twice when he was young.

Besides I think Angela got really sophisticated at the end of the series :)

they were both gorgeous people and they liked each other

Trina McGee Davis was 32 years old while taping the show and playing the part of an 18 year old. they did good on that part cuz she fits her character well. She was also married (and still is) to Courtland Davis and had her 3rd and final child on BMW's last season in 2000. they should have a lost epsiode..

I dont think she was ghetto at all. Usually ghetto means people who usually have a lot of flava in them. But the definitions yall used apply to , but from my knowledge, ghetto doent really mean that a persons uneducated maybe loud, but not uneducated.

how is it dumb if she could pull it off? She did look the age. heck by the college episodes, the REAL 18 year old cast looked like they were in their late 20's. im almost glad they skipped some grades because of that, I couldnt see Rider Strong playing a senior in season 7...

Trina really pulled it off IMO and she had a decent singing voice LOL

I suprised Angela was that old but it she looked 18 so it worked. I always loved her character. I never thought of her as ghetto. I thought her and Shawn made a good couple.

Um so? Stacey Dash was 30 when she played Dionne on Clueless. So was Rachael McAdams in Mean Girls. You'll be pressed to see how many characters who are teenagers that are played by older actors.

The guy that plays "Teddy" on "90210" just made 31 and he is supposed to the a high school student...but then again, he does look like an old student. LOL.

I liked Angela. I liked her with Shawn as well. When I found out that Trina was 29 during an interview back in 1998, I was shocked but I totally accepted it because she fit the part so well as a teen. She said for those who have a problem with her playing a teen at her age, she said "get over it". I loved that!
