View Full Version : Good Times special on E available?
Edster2973 08-24-2004, 11:25 AM Hello all,
I seem to remember a special on Good Times that was on E! a couple of years ago, or at least I think it was E! It had cast interaction from Ralph Carter (who I thought looked aged!), Ja'net Du Bois and others.
I'm looking for this special, preferably on DVD. Do any of you know if this is commercially available, and if not, would I be able to purchase a copy of it from one of you?
I'm very reliable. I have an Ebay account by the name of ejsnet and you'll see I have a perfect rating.
Hope we can work something out since I'd love to have this special, in addition to anything else on the show that may exist.
Anyone?
Ed

Awesome. Did it come out ok when you recorded it? And if so, would you be able to dub me a copy of it on DVD? Let me know at ejsnet1@comcast.net so we can discuss payment etc.
Thanks.

Why not simply arrange to buy a copy like I'm doing? That way, you'd have it forever and be able to watch it whenever you wanted to.

It's gonna come back around eventually. If they keep showing two of those True Hollywood Stories every morning, they have to keep them rotating til it's time to show Good Times again. I'll keep a lookout and let you know ahead of time.
Lady T 08-24-2004, 11:58 PM I will tell everyone the next time Good Times the True Hollywood Story is airing on the E! Network:wave:

Just a short note to everyone that I got the DVD from vashti1999. She is indeed very reliable and honest, and was very quick with the delivery of this DVD.
The quality of it is also impeccable. The DVD contents is even silk screened on the DVD; no measly marker writing done here. She even included the Saturday Night Live Good Times skit done with Janet Jackson.
Thanks so much vashti1999. I'm so grateful to you for this DVD. It's awesome and so are you!

Before i buy a copy, is the THS of Good Times UPDATED? Meaning was there new info added? Someone told me whenever a Show is on THS, it's always updated.

Well, only if there's something to update. If nothing newsworthy occurs, then it'll remain the same. What would they update THS of Good Times with, whether Ja'net DuBois actually went ahead with her face lift?

Thanks for all the kind words, Ed. I appreciate it. I'm glad you enjoyed the dvd.
I know my real first name may have thrown you off, but I just want to clarify to everyone I'm male. I have one of those unisex first names that I don't tell people about unless it's absolutely necessary.
